Veselin Nachev graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria. He is a Docent of the Faculty of Painting and Graphic Arts in the University of Varna.

Awards:

1989-Prize for Painting from the Ministry of Culture in Bulgaria

1989-Special Selection on the Biennial of "Miniature Art" in Toronto, Canada

1996-"Grand Prize" of the foundation "Pro Helvetcia" for painting

1996-"Varna's Prize" for fine arts in Bulgaria

Veselin Nachev's art works are owned by the National Art Gallery in Sofia and numerous private collections in France, Holland, Finland, Germany, Sweden, Russia, Austria, Poland, Yugoslavia, Switzerland, and USA.
