Tsanev's passion for classical art and Renaissance masters combined with modern color palette and spurs of abstract expressionism make his style a fusion of ancient and modern art. Consumed with the theme of the human as a part of nature, he explores that harmony in many of his works.

Tsanev's art works are owned by the National Art Gallery in Sofia and private collections of royal families of Spain and Monaco. Tsanev's art works are also part of private collections in Sweden, Luxembourg, Spain, Egypt, Netherlands, Russia, Brazil, Turkey, Canada, China, Hungary, England, and the United States.
